Teri Winkey joined the Iowa Food Bank Association (IFBA) as SNAP Outreach Coordinator in September of 2014. Before coming to IFBA, she worked for six years with UnityPoint, Allen Hospital and several years with AEA 267, River Hills School. The experience working with special needs students was some of the most valuable of her career. She spent 17 years of her early career in advertising/graphic design with Porter’s Camera, Inc., and also attended the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls, her hometown.  Her passion to help others and desire to serve in a nonprofit organization brought her to the IFBA. She has embraced the challenge of helping those in need of Food Assistance, serving 50 counties in Northern and Eastern Iowa.
Lindsey Haley joined IFBA as Operations Manager in October. Lindsey comes to IFBA from Iowa Soybean Association, where her focus was the Iowa Food & Family Project. Iowa Food Bank Association works closely with Iowa Food & Family Project to connect Iowans with the farmers producing their food. She has a Bachelor of Science in Public Service & Administration in Agriculture from Iowa State University. Her agricultural experience will be an asset to IFBA. As a member of Young Professionals in Agriculture and Iowa Society of Association Executives, Lindsey hopes to share the message of Iowa's food banks through many channels.
Richard (Rick) Sego has been hired as the Disaster Preparedness Coordinator and will be coordinating our work with the 3RNI Disaster project. Rick recently worked in Emergency Management (EM) while with the Veterans Administration. He studied at Upper Iowa University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in EM. Rick has over 20 years in the military with a multitude of deployments to foreign countries, for both combat and humanitarian missions. Rick has provided disaster relief assistance after 9/11, Hurricane Katrina, and the Iowa Floods of 2008.
Teri, Lindsey, and Rick join State Director Cory Berkenes and SNAP Outreach Coordinator Cindy Jones to complete the Iowa Food Bank Association team.
